Our inaugural charity golf event took place on Saturday, July 25th, 2015 at Hawk's Landing Country Club in Southington, CT. 44 golfers took to the green bright and early for a cause dear and near to all of our hearts - DOGS! They came from as far away as Virginia, Massachusetts, NJ and some diners who joined us for the reception hailed all the way from Californ-i-a by way of New Hampshire! Thank you so much for spending the day with us. We could not have asked for a more perfect day!
Special guest of honor, TDR adoptable Zoey, was on hand all day to supervise, greet everyone, and show off her impeccable manners, all in the hope that someone would fall madly in love with her and adopt her. That didn't happen, but we're still hopeful that someone who did get to meet her and witness her joyful personality firsthand, will sing her praises and lead us to land Zoey a forever home of her own. Paws forever crossed.
This event would not be possible without the help of many, starting with Nick and his entire top-notch staff at Hawk's Landing Country Club. Thank you for allowing us to take over (on a Saturday no less), and for making sure everything ran smoothly. Still trying to figure out who invited Guy Fieri, though....

And last but certainly not least, we cannot thank our volunteers enough, who worked tirelessly to plan and execute this event. Danielle can catch up on her sleep now, at least until next year when planning begins anew. Thanks to Krista and Chris for being our Jell-O Shots Queen and King, and Debbie, Emily, Kristen, Laura, Michelle, Sam, and Tracy for taking care of everything else. We are grateful to all who donated raffle prizes or helped in gathering raffle donations and recruited players for the event. It would not have been possible without everyone's help!
